IPL 2020: Twitterati Is Extremely Sad After The IPL Got Over

The Indian Premium League (IPL) of 2020 is over and the Internet has a hell of lot of memes on the same. The tournament has been fun so far. With a lot of amazing things like some surprising youngsters breaking the stereotypes, and teams performing extremely well, we can’t get over the IPL anytime soon. We know the kind of faces everybody made when the news came out saying that the IPL might start only on March 29 because of the pandemic. Nobody was sure about the happening of the IPL, but, now, the BCCI made it happen anyway, by organizing it carefully in UAE until November 10, from September 19.

With all the complications about the International rules, it is definitely not easy to host an International tournament like IPL abroad. But, BCCI has taken it forward with great conviction, and it turned out as good as it could be. Just like every year, 60 matches were conducted and the final happened between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians.

Mumbai Indians (MI) had an astounding win last year, they kind of repeated the same this year by winning the trophy consecutively, grabbing a crushing win against the Delhi Capitals (DC). On a whole, the team Mumbai Indians led by hitman Rohit Sharma managed to achieve the feat of unprecedented five Indian Premier League (IPL) titles after beating Delhi Capitals.

With this win, Mumbai broke their odd-number jinx and became the first team to win consecutive IPL trophies since CSK in 2010 and 2011. Along with this, Rohit Sharma is the only captain who bashed two-fifties in IPL final’s history. Twitterati went posting their opinions in the form of memes, and it went out super well.
