PM Modi Asks One Thing From Every Indian This Diwali

The localization of the business and the encouragement for the Indian made products starting from the basic home furnishing to the electronics is undeniably growing from the government’s side. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is undoubtedly trying his best in promoting the local made goods in order to concentrate the business of the country eventually making it self-made.

This movement started by the current government deserves a lot of appreciation. The local entrepreneurs are harnessing the benefits and support offered by the government in a glorious manner. With all this on one side, the countdown to Diwali has now begun and we know the kind of market the festival will garner, as Diwali is the most iconic festival which is celebrated by the people throughout the country in a unanimous attire. On this special occasion, keeping the huge market value and occupational possibilities in mind, PM Modi has come forward making an important appeal to the people.

His announcement came out in the form of a video message which is now widely shared on all forms of social media handles. In the video, the Prime Minister of the world’s largest democracy is seen talking about the mantra of Vocal for Local should not be forgotten while shopping this time. He is asking for the people to generate local prices, especially the ones who actively take part in the shopping during the festival month.

Modi started with the basic explanation about the ‘Vocal for local’, he is quoted saying, “vocal for local does not mean just buying earthen lamps, but also giving preference to local products in everything you buy.”

“We, the locals there, make a variety of things. That, these are things made in our country. Don’t compromise with the mantra of Vocal for Local, this mantra is the mantra of our life,” he concluded.

Soon after the video came out, other important ministers in Modi’s cabinet shared the video and retweeted the message on their social media handles. They all urged the people of the country to buy the local goods in order to help the country’s economy which has deteriorated way too much due to the lockdown.
