The best and favorite part of all the viewers who enjoy different forms of entertainment on the Internet knows the relevancy of Amazon Prime and Netflix very well. The mere idea of the absence of censor and the requirements of star heroes in their movies and TV shows is a myth on the OTT platforms. Considering all these things, all we can say is despite missing watching our favorite movies and TV series on the big screens, there is nothing much we are missing here.
Sitting on a comfortable couch with our family and not worrying about reaching the theater in time to watch the movie isn’t there anymore. But, now, something strange has happened and the whole Internet users are worried about it. Starting from today, digital media, including all the video content streaming platforms will come under the purview of the Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
People fear that this might pave the way for greater censorship of content online prompted a range of reactions from people on Twitter. Many people on social media handle believed that this move by the government isn’t so much of a surprise and they are hoping that this won’t imbibe some strict policies on the content. Some supported the move, but many were unhappy. There were plenty of comments and memes on Twitter. Check out the memes here:
Bringing streaming platforms under I&B Ministry is not the only problem, it's our esteemed ministry's penchant for unnecessary censorship is what's worrying. We pay for those services, let us watch what we want and stop wanting to control every aspect of our lives. @MIB_India

To my knowledge, streaming services have no regulatory authority in any developed country. So, stop inventing things where it's not required and start focusing on things like crappy 4G and start of 5G. @MIB_India @PrakashJavdekar #I&BMinistry

The only left to shun voices to independent media is this. I am amazed that government has so much time to draft this but no time to actually talk on jobs and unemployment.
P.S – Desire to become dictator can do anything

Expected move in absence of a robust Self Regulation Code. Calm before the storm? ๐ค

In Simple words,
After capturing & controlling the mainstream media now Govt going to attack the Online Content makers.
There will be two options limit yourself or surrender to us with Best pay scale.

Too many porn web series. Filthy and obscene YouTube channels. If this uncensored digital content trend continues then india will beat world's porn industry in just couple of years.
