Thanks to the Indian Premium League (IPL), many youngsters are slowly making it into the Indian cricket team in one way or another. Especially, from the last couple of years, we are noticing some raging young talent in the world of cricket, Some of them are exceptionally good. One such cricketer we have seen in recent years is Ishan Kishan, a Mumbai Indians (MI) player.
Though he missed out in the first few games, the Jharkhand boy has eventually become one of the major batsmen in the batting line-up of the paltans. From starting the innings to batting in the middle order, Ishan proved himself fit at any position.
In a total of 14 matches, Ishan managed to bag a good 516 runs with an impressive 57.33 average. He was at the fifth position in the leading run-scorer list for IPL 2020. His 33 in just 20 balls against Delhi Capitals in the season finale led MI to a stunning 5-wicket win.
In addition to the astounding stats Ishan managed built for his bright future, he also grabbed the attention of some of the most senior cricketers who were very well proved in their career. Starting from some of the senior captains of the Australian team like Ricky Poting to the former Indian allrounder Yuvraj Singh, Ishan has done it all in a little time that was offered to him.
Yuvraj tweeted, “Congratulations @mipaltan by far the best team in the #ipl, @ImRo45 captains knock in the final! Heart goes out to @DelhiCapitals had an outstanding tournament! @ishankishan51 special very special player in the making.”
