Yuvraj Singh Has A Question For Shikhar Dhawan For Getting Out At 78!

Called as one of the promising cricketers of the Indian Premium League (IPL), Shikhar Dhawan bagged an amazing half-century for his IPL team Delhi Capitals’ (DC) to make it to the finals by winning over the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), however, it didn’t go pretty well for him after he got out at 78. Dhawan is even trolled by Yuvraj Singh for not reviewing his dismissal after declared OUT. Dhawan opened the innings alongside Marcus Stoinis, he took the SRH bowlers to the cleaners throughout the match and was on the verge of bashing the 3rd century of the tournament. However, during the last but one over, Dhawan was barred in his tracks by the infamous bowler Sandeep Sharma who restricted him between the wickets.

Despite the way he got out, Dhawan managed to score a decent 78 runs in just 50 balls. In this massive 78, he garnered six fours and two sixes. Though the replays made it clear that the ball had hit the pad outside the line of the off-stump during Dhawan’s attempt to play the reverse ramp shot, he was given OUT through LBW by the umpire. Post declaring OUT, Dhawan is seen walking into the pavilion with a sheepish smile and the former hitman Yuvraj Singh barged into the social media teasing Dhawan on the way he got out.

Yuvi wrote, “@SDhawan25 man in form but naam to jatt ji hai… how bout drs bro ? as usual must have forgotten,” the former India all-rounder tweeted while also congratulating SRH bowlers for coming back strongly in the final two overs. “Great come back by bowlers in the last 2 overs ! Not even A single boundary scored hats off natrajan and @sandeep25a pressure game execution to the point.”

On the other hand, Shimron Hetmyer, Dhawan’s batting partner standing on the other side of the wickets, also seemed confused about the Umpire’s decision. He was quoted saying, “I thought that LBW call was impact outside off as well, but honestly, he just started walking, so next time I’ll have to make sure I call him back.”
